Weekend Reading: We’re Not Going Down Without a Fight

It’s been a hard week, readers. While world leaders are in Marrakesh hammering out the details of a cliamte agreement, the U.S. electoral college was cheated into electing a sociopath, and he thinks he has a mandate to trash the planet.
But we’re not going down without a fight. If he even twitches toward opening up federal lands for drilling, we will protest and we will fight. If he breathes a word about moving federal support from clean energy to fossil fuels, we’re going to fight it. We’ve spent the past eight years singing Kumbaya while the Republicans have obstructed progress. I’m through with being conciliatory. Now, we fight back. Our home, our planet is at stake. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat is in danger from this demagogue.
They’re not going to get away with this on our watch.
