The world's trusted guide to sustainable and ethical fashion

Rêve en Vert Is Gunning to Be Your Favorite Sustainable Fashion and Beauty Store

Rêve en Vert has generously sponsored this post. As always, EcoCult only works with brands that we believe are doing good work. Support EcoCult by supporting them!

When I founded my blog three and a half years ago, sustainable fashion was still nascent. My list of places and brands to shop was short, and I had a bunch of brands and stores in my personal list (which I later turned into my Shopping Guide) that I wasn’t so excited about. But hey, beggars couldn’t be choosers!

In this landscape, however, one online store stood out for its sleek, modern style, giving me hope that one could be both fashion forward and socially conscious. That site was Rêve en Vert (“dream in green”), a London-based site curating the very best in sustainable fashion from around the world and putting it within a context of urban style any successful woman could love.

Each item has an explanation of why it’s sustainable, but the site does not beat you over the head with your good karma. It’s all quietly conscious.

It’s from here that I got my leather leggings, which are still a favorite in my closet. (Hey, blast from the past!) Everything is definitely an investment piece. Not useless luxury, but quality items you treat yourself with when you get a promotion.

REV has been quietly and elegantly expanding in the past three years to include more designers, jewelry, accessories, and now in an exciting new addition, beauty. The candles, skincare, and bath salts are all in the same timeless and upscale style as the rest of REV’s fashion offerings. A girl couldn’t be blamed for wanting to outfit her entire life from here.

They also just launched a gift section, with luxury stocking stuffers, organic beauty, and special gifts that will impress. (Ahem, bestie and sister gifts, yes?)

Just in case you needed convincing, here are my favorite things available in the store right now:
