Patagonia has pretty well established itself as the ethical and sustainable clothing maker of choice for environmentalists. But just to add another reason to the top of the Everest-high pile, they made this video.
This mini documnetary profiles Salt of the Earth types–a farmer, a maple syrup maker, a long-distance hiker, a surfer–who have a Patagonia item they’ve kept for 11 years or longer. Not only will this video inspire you to put more thought into choosing high-quality clothing that will last forever, it also will make you want to leave the city and go live on a beach in Mexico, or on a maple syrup farm.
