What a lovely little Easter Egg, hiding in the pages of Marie Claire: this graphic tee emblazoned with the phrase, “No Fish No Nothing,” and other statistics about the alarming decline of marine life related to overfishing and pollution.
In other words, a fashion moment with a heart.
Marie Claire didn’t even highlight the fact that the sale of this shirt, and its many iterations for men and women, will go to support the Blue Marine Foundation (which I discovered after some digging). They just thought it looked cool, and played perfectly into the bold graffiti/slogan moment fashion is having. The creative directors at the quirky-cool brand Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, are both California natives, making the collaboration a natural fit with their loves of waves. They even have some excellent advice on eating sustainable seafood on their website!
If you’re looking to buy a statement embroidered sweater, embroidered sweatshirt, a classy wave-print tank, graffiti sweatshirt, a miniskirt with personality, or an amazing t-shirt this season, this would be the place to get it.
