Thru 10/27 at various locations

Cider is one of the best parts about fall. Cider donuts are THE best thing about fall. Celebrate by partaking in high and low, cheap and pricey events all over New York City and upstate. The Union Square Greenmarket has a night market Friday with a curated roster of local restaurants. The Wythe hotel hosts Rowan Jacobsen, author of The Intoxication Apple, for a cider and food tasting, also Friday. There’s a cider donut eating contest and cider-making demonstration at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket on Saturday. Murray’s Cheese does a cider and cheese tasting, also on Saturday. Roberta’s garden has a cider fest on Sunday, and it just keeps going with more tasting at more excellent restaurants and shops than you could ever handle.
