NYC Beer Week

There are hundreds of beer centric events
happening across the city this week (which benefit City Harvest
). But we especially like Brewer's Choice event. Taste offerings from more than three dozen breweries, 90 percent of which have brewed a beer specially for this event using NY State malts and other local ingredients. Have a taste at the special Vermont table curated by Dave Brodrick to include artisanal products from the Green Mountain State. Plus, more awards and pavilions for all things beer.
Tickets are $65 and are all-inclusive

Mercado #WomenForward Party

Celebrate International Women’s Day by supporting women’s economic empowerment at a special party hosted by Stoli Vodka and featuring D.J. Emma Phillips. The ethical fashion social enterprise will be celebrating the #WomenForward campaign, which is raising money to fund industrial sewing machine training for 20 Guatemalan women artisans, allowing them to work more efficiently and become agents of change in their communities. Mercado Global is a social enterprise fighting poverty and empowering women in Guatemala by leveraging the power of international market access to provide life-changing opportunities to rural indigenous women.
