If there’s one thing that Spring ’14 outfits will require, it’s the strappy heel. It’s necessary to balance the volume of a loose, high-waisted trouser, and to finish a tea-length skirt.

The Inspiration

Strappy Heel Inspiration strappy2 strappy3

Let me see, looking through my closet … nope, don’t have a good strappy sandal. Probably because they scare me! My theory is that the more surface area of shoe touching your feet, the more comfort. Like an ankle bootie: it encases your foot for a nice, comfy fit. But strappy heels … I just imagine the straps digging into your feet in a desperate attempt to cling to what surface area they have. Which is why it’s so important to pick out a well-made heel.

The Finds

You wouldn’t imagine there would be so many ethical choices out there for something that seems so fashionista-y, but you bet I found them all.
