Weleda Rose Body Lotion When Weleda asked if I wanted to get a mani/pedi at the clean nail salon Sweet Lily in TriBeCa, I was like, "Chyeah. Sign me up." Sweet Lily Natural Nail Spa (which I've covered before) is a cute, girly nail salon with overstuffed chairs, a lounge area for drying that doesn't involve UV lights, Zoya non-toxic nail polishes, and fancy foot and hand soaks, along with sugar scrubs. This was where Weleda chose to announce several new product lines it's debuting in the U.S.

Weleda, if you didn't know, is a European brand that does skincare, baby care, and now hair care with biodynamic (read: even better for the earth than organic) and organic ingredients, no toxins, and delicious scents--when my sister smelled my pomegranate cream, she wanted some for herself, so it went in her stocking.

For our manicures, we chose between a Wild Rose Manicure, with a warm hand soak with Wild Rose Pampering Body Lotion, followed by a wild rose sugar exfoliant with Weleda’s Wild Rose Facial Oil Capsules and Almond Soothing Facial Oil for the cuticles; or the Sea Buckthorn Manicure, with a warm hand soak with Replenishing Sea Buckthorn Body Lotion, followed by an orange sugar exfoliant, and Almond Soothing Facial Oil for the cuticles.

Then we had a Rosemary Oat Pedicure, with oat milk and colloidal oatmeal foot soak with rosemary shea butter soap, a Rosemary salt scrub and massage. It included Almond Soothing Facial Oil for the cuticles, Arnica Body Oil for the leg and foot massage, and a choice between Weleda Skin Food or Weleda Foot Balm. They sent me home with some brand new products to review, so keep a look out for that soon! S_IMG_4683 s_IMG_4660 s_IMG_4648 s_IMG_4652
