LAST WEEKEND: Hester Holiday Market
Thru 12/21 | 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. @ Eventi Hotel
One of the city’s best markets is picking itself up and moving to a cozy indoor space, where you can find the best in local crafts, jewelry, festive gifts and food. Super nerd alert: The market is now accepting Bitcoins. However that works.
835 6th Ave @ 29th St | Manhattan
LAST WEEKEND: Juniper Ridge Pop-Up Shop
Thru 12/21 | Mon. – Friday | 12 to 8 p.m. and Sat. and Sun. | 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The “wilderness fragrance distillery” Juniper Ridge is bringing the nature and hiking trails of the West Coast to New Yorkers (we desperately need it), with a special pop-up shop. Along with live fragrance distillations on the street using plants Juniper Ridge has foraged and flown in directly from the California mountains, the pop up shop will feature a transporter booth where people can experience Juniper Ridge hikes through film footage, real foliage, and fragrances. Your manly fella will love it.
101 North 8th Street (between Wythe and Berry) | Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Brooklyn Night Bazaar
Fri. and Sat. | 6 p.m. to midnight @ Greenpoint
The warehouse-turned-concert venue, shopping destination and night market is back again this year. Bounce to live artsists while you shop twee and cool local fashion and home goods. Shopping is hard work, so take breaks often to taste your way through bites from Ample Hills Creamery, Oaxaca Taqueria and more.
